I am an assistant professor in the Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I received my PhD in Spanish Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin. My research and personal interests have allowed me to travel all over the world, but my three favorite places to visit are my home in Washington State, my husband's home in Averyon, France, and my research site and favorite place to tango, Argentina.
